Danielle Feinberg is a director of photography at Pixar Animation Studios. When she entered the studio, she worked on the film A Bug's Life, as a render organizer, and later handled lighting for Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc., the Oscar-winning Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles. Wall-E was the first film in which Danielle Feinberg directed the lighting in the role of her cinematographer.
As Lighting Director of Photography, Danielle is responsible for the placement of light icons in a virtual three-dimensional space; in such a way that it gives the tapes environments, atmospheres; lights and shadows. Feinberg studied for a degree in Computer Science at Harvard University and became interested in the intersection between art and technology to create films. In 2020 she became the technical director of the Loop tape.
