Magnús Scheving is an actor, athlete, entrepreneur and creative, who has sought to improve the lives of people around the world.
Scheving is primarily famous for his role as "Sportacus" on LazyTown, the children's series that encourages parents and children to make healthy choices. More than 170 countries have watched the television series that he wrote, directed and produced. LazyTown has won several awards, including a BAFTA. Additionally, he has received nominations for two Emmys.

He became Iceland's Athlete of the Year. He has also been named Iceland's Marketing Man and Entrepreneur of the Year, and has won the Nordic Public Health Award and the Icelandic President's Export Award.
Magnús is CEO of the LazyTown Entertainment brand, and world leaders such as David Cameron, Cecilia Morel, Michelle Obama and former Mexican President Felipe Calderón have requested his help to address the problem of childhood obesity. The European Commission and the United Nations have also listed him to promote healthy and active lifestyles.
