Paolo Bortolameolli

Notable Orchestra Conductor, Revelation in the USA, Latin America and the World

"I believe that dedicating oneself to music is an inevitable act. It is practically impossible to resist that kind of call. But, on the other hand, it is effectively a choice. There is something between quixotic, beautifully rebellious and poetically brave about jumping to pursue beauty, in a world that prioritizes production, technological development, economic growth, consumerism and immediacy."

Chilean-Italian conductor Paolo Bortolameolli is a prolific force on the podium, a talented lecturer, and advocate for the arts.

Notable debuts between 2022 and 2024 include the New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, San Diego Symphony Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Hong Kong Philharmonic, Orchestra as well as returns to the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, the Kansas City Symphony, the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra and the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia. He has conducted ensembles and built relationships with orchestras around the world such as the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra in Caracas, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano, the Gulbenkian Orchestra in Portugal and the Orchestra della Toscana in Florence.

Recent operatic productions include Tosca at the Paris Opera, Die Zauberflöte at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, and Golijov's Ainadamar at the Detroit Opera House.
