Currently Alejandro Valenzuela is the CEO of Banco Azteca. From his position, he has been in charge of promoting quality financial services and generating synergies with Grupo Elektra, belonging to Grupo Salinas. He has more than 20 years of experience in the financial sector.

He served as General Director of Institutional Relations and later, General Director of Grupo Financiero Banorte.

Previously he was general director in Mexico of the European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company. Alejandro Valenzuela, Public Administrator from the Ecole Nationale d'Administration, in Paris, has held various positions in the public sector, such as in the Ministry of Finance and Banco de México.
