The prestigious psychologist who explores the human mind



Feggy Ostrosky is part of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores Nivel III and is a full-time professor and deputy of the Laboratory of Neuropsychology and Psychophysiology of the Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. She focuses her work on the study of the relationship between the brain and human behavior; she has developed research on the psychophysiological and neuropsychological basis of oral and written language, memory, violence, and changes associated with normal and pathological aging.

For her career, she has received numerous awards and distinctions, including Premio Nacional de Investigación en Psicología, el premio Universidad Anáhuac, el premio Universidad Nacional Edición Bicentenario, Premio Ciudad Capital Heberto Castillo y el Premio de Investigación de la Sociedad Mexicana de Psicología.

She is the author of 29 books, 320 articles and scientific chapters, in addition to 6 neuropsychological tests that have norms in the Spanish-speaking population according to age and education. She studied psychology at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and completed a master's and doctorate in the Department of Communication Disorders at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois and a Doctorate in Biomedicine at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
