Great Social, Educational and Artistic Project of Excellence for Children and Young People in Mexico, Conceived by Fundación Azteca

"Music has the ability to bring human beings closer, to create bonds of identity and harmony. This sense of belonging to something bigger than ourselves. Being part of the Orquesta y Coro Esperanza Azteca allows children and young people to visualize a better future."
-Ricardo B. Salinas Pliego.

Esperanza Azteca is a social project for girls, boys and young people, between 5 and 17 years of age, which since 2009 has been promoted by Ricardo B. Salinas Pliego and operated by Fundación Azteca.

At Esperanza Azteca, in addition to learning music, students develop high values such as discipline, the pursuit of excellence and teamwork, implementing our own methodology and philosophy that has given the best artistic results that are palpable in each concert, achieving that our children and young people significantly improve their self-esteem while inspiring their families and communities. This is the best way to strengthen our social fabric and Mexico.

Esperanza Azteca represents an important alliance between society, government, local trustees, Grupo Salinas and, Fundación Azteca. It is headquartered in the facilities of the former factory La Constancia Mexicana, which is also the national main office of the Esperanza Azteca Choirs and Orchestras program and the Instituto Superior de Música Esperanza Azteca (ISMEA).

The new process of the Esperanza Azteca La Constancia Orchestra and Choir began on January 20, 2025, benefiting 222 children and young people. Artistic Directors: Christian Peña Fernández and, Julio Saldaña Torres.
