Not Real Talent Manager and Producer at Aww Inc, the Amazing Futuristic Company that Builds Virtual Human Influencers

"I'm a human lover. I truly believe that this virtual human technology will better our world and make the treasures that we have as humans —our love, our connection and our self-expressions— way better."

Sara Giusto was born in 1995, in Fukuoka, Japan. Spent ages 8 to 18 living in Canada and Hawaii. Returned to Japan for university and graduated from Musashino Art University, in 2018, with a Degree in Oil Painting.

After working as a curator at an art gallery, Sara joined Aww Inc., in 2020, a company specializing in virtual humans, in their movement and facial expression. Aww is a leader in creating and producing virtual humans that look no different from real humans —including production, direction, and storytelling—. With the evolution of artificial intelligence, Aww is researching and developing new technologies to make interaction with virtual humans more natural and realistic, especially in the language.

Sara has been able to bridge the creative and tech industries, and has brought the virtual human "imma" and other intellectual property to a worldwide audience of 3 million followers. Previously, Sara has shared her insights as the only Asian female presenter at esteemed platforms like MIT and showcased "imma" at Complexcon, the largest street fashion convention in the US.

She was selected as a Forbes "Japan 30 Under 30" honoree in the Science, Technology & Local category in 2023. In April 2024, she gave a TED Talk titled "The Rise of Virtual Humans and What They Mean for the Future" at TED Conferences.
