Valentina Luján

Recognized Expert in Integral Happiness, Human Behavior and Positive Psychology for more than 20 Years

"Being happy is not sought after, not achieved, not something that 'just' happens or that someone can do for you. Happiness is a complex construct and therefore requires effort and strategy. It is a long-term process, which can become uncomfortable. That’s why being brave is indispensable to achieve it."

Valentina Luján is a Mexican entrepreneur, mother of two, international speaker, podcaster, happiness coach, author and promoter of happiness (long-term well-being) as a personal responsibility. She has studied human behavior in Canada, France, the United States, Spain and Mexico for more than 20 years, and has focused on the scientific study of happiness (positive psychology) in recent years.

She is certified as Chief Happiness Officer by Florida International University, as Happiness Trainer by the Happiness Studies Academy (of Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar) and in the Implementation of Human Capital Training Courses by the Consejo Nacional de Normalización y Certificación de Competencias Laborales. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations (HR) from the Ibero-American University (UIA) and a Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Strategy and Organizational Behavior from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Author of the book Ser feliz es para valientes and the audiobook Ser feliz es tu responsabilidad, Valentina is convinced that we can learn to be happy, for this she created Valentinamente Feliz, a project in which she shares accessible tools to live better from different platforms. She is co-founder of the Happiness Studies Academy Alumni and Business Club and member of the Sociedad Mexicana de Psicología Positiva.
