Festival de las Ideas, Puebla 2023 was inaugurated by Ricardo Salinas Pliego, president of Centro Ricardo B. Salinas Pliego; the Governor of the State of Puebla, Sergio Salomón Céspedes Peregrina and the Director of Festival de las Ideas, Ricardo Obert Martínez.

To start the program, Othón García raised interesting ideas about freedom in the most daily acts. Keishia Thorpe, the winner of the Global Teacher Prize, spoke about the commitment that teachers have with their students and the importance of education.
To continue, Daniel Gómez Íñiguez presented the Universidad de la Libertad, one of the most ambitious and innovative projects that seeks for its students to achieve their purposes. The most innovative and inspiring educational leader of our time, Richard Gerver, spoke of the future of education and how there is a great responsibility to guide the new generations. Finally, the digital anthropologist Rahaf Harfoush, one of the most recognized thinkers today and always at the forefront in terms of digital culture, artificial intelligence and technology, closed the segment.

Nilda Chiaraviglio, psychotherapist specializing in couple relationships, sexology and sexual diversity, began the segment dedicated to health. Elisa Sacal reflected on the importance of rest and mentioned that "sleep is a pillar that sustains our well-being". Naveen Jain asked who wants to live long and shared the tools for healthy living with the audience. Eric Edmeades spoke of his experience with the Bushmen and the impact they had on his life.

Pascal Bornet presented Ana, a human representation made through Artificial Intelligence and commented on the advantages of applying this technology to daily life. Katya Echazarreta moved the audience in the auditorium by recounting her path to space, remembering her childhood, youth and her perseverance to achieve her dreams. Finally, Jeremy Gutsche, one of today's most important innovation experts, shared his knowledge with the audience at the Puebla Metropolitan Auditorium.
