The Only Mexican Architect Who Participated in the Reconstruction of the Notre Dame Cathedral

Arredondo is a Mexican architect, originally from Coacalco, State of Mexico, graduated from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM). After finishing his university studies in 2015, he participated in architectural firms in Mexico and, in 2016, he specialized in digital models for construction (Building Information Modeling, BIM) in Madrid, Spain.
In 2017 he moved to Paris, France, with his wife, where he worked in architectural firms with various projects, both in France and Morocco. Two years later, he joined the Art Graphique et Patrimoine team as a BIM architect to create digital models of historical monuments. That same year, the unfortunate fire at Notre Dame Cathedral occurred and, Arredondo and his team were in charge of creating the digital model of the famous medieval cathedral from 3D scans, drones and a point cloud for its reconstruction. This represented the most emblematic and important project in Arredondo's career.
Currently, he continues to work at the firm Art Graphique et Patrimoine and teaches classes at the Sorbonne University, France, where he shares his experience with the new generations. He is the winner of the BIM Influencer 22-23 contest in the architecture category.
